Production Coordinator
About the role
The Production Coordinator (Water Spider) plays a crucial role in the physical and systematic movement of materials and hardware within an assigned manufacturing/production cell. This position involves maintaining proper storage, creating kits, and accurately distributing materials to their appropriate locations.
Responsibilities
- Distribute materials to production and assembly areas, ensuring correct parts and quantities are available to meet production needs.
- Store incoming material by organizing and creating proper storage locations.
- May require the use of forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Utilize SAP/ERP systems to locate and issue required components to production orders.
- Initiate and close incoming production orders.
- Packages, prepares, and delivers orders to next destination.
- Process material transactions, including stock transfers, order releases, and inventory adjustments.
- Create shippers and deliver materials to shipping department for outside processing.
- Maintain responsibility for and accountability for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years' experience working with Inventory, Stocking/Re-Stocking, Material Handling, Shipping or Receiving.
- Prior experience in high-volume manufacturing or inventory management is preferred.
- Proficient in navigating multiple systems and screens, including Microsoft Office and SAP or equivalent ERP tools.
- Collaborates effectively across various departments to achieve shared goals while delivering excellent customer support.
- Demonstrates attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to effectively prioritize and organize work.
- Physical lifting requirements include: ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach.

- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
