Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the production schedule and work queue for antenna system builds and subassemblies, balancing priorities, material readiness, labor capacity, engineering readiness, and delivery commitments.
  • Assess production readiness by evaluating material availability, purchase orders, work orders, required documentation, and shop capacity to determine when work should be released.
  • Partner closely with purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to identify, communicate, and resolve production blockers.
  • Track production progress against plan, providing clear updates on schedule risks, shortages, priority changes, and work order status through regular production meetings and stakeholder communications.
  • Cook up with purchasing and material planning to ensure long-lead, critical, and constrained components are aligned with production schedules and business priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning and production processes, including work order release, readiness reviews, queue management, shortage tracking, schedule reporting, and throughput optimization.

Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing coordination within hardware manufacturing environments, with a strong understanding of production control processes.
  • Prior proven ability to develop and manage production schedules, work orders, and cross-functional execution while ensuring material availability, inventory accuracy, and production readiness.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and the interdependencies between purchasing, inventory management, production capacity, quality, and engineering to meet production objectives.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience using ERP, MRP, MES, inventory, and scheduling systems to track status, resolve production blockers, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in aerospace, defense, space, RF systems, electronics manufacturing, or other complex hardware production environments.
  • Experience using Manufacturo in a production environment.
  • Experience in a high-mix, low-volume or rapidly scaling manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or aerospace quality requirements.
