Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans and accomplishes a complete range of assignments and tasks that are generally routine to moderately complex relative to scheduling and coordinating the flow of parts, material and work within or between departments.
- Compiles and maintains manual and computerized records such as production schedules, material inventory, in process production reports, and status and location of materials.
- Updates production schedule daily.
- Produces Scheduled Daily Ship List.
- Produces kit lists for items that work orders are released according to the master schedule.
- Works with Kitting / Oracle Issues related to materials and work orders.
- Identifies any work orders not closed and works to reconcile.
- Produces key production reports in support of the production meetings.
- Facilitates the restart process, ensures timely completion of restart to protect customer commitments and delivery requirements.
- Supports all system based aspects of production scheduling.
- Supports cross functional communication between key members of management, engineering and the production team.
- Coverage of outside service return dates with Purchasing.
- Facilitate communication with sales regarding all aspects of schedule including but not limited to commitments for shipment of product.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have good computer skills with solid background in MS Office, must be proficient in Word and Excel.
- Must have the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Must have the ability to work across functional areas.
- Must have the ability to interface with multiple levels in the business.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred Experience: +1 year experience in manufacturing preferred.
Scope
Applies thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and practices related to identifying and prioritizing production requirements and coordinating the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies to meet production schedules.
Export Statement
- Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to:
- a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents;
- b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation;
- c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL);
- d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US;
- e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
