Essential Job Functions

  • Data Management: Communicates with various departments regarding work schedules, monitors ERP system, communicates with procurement, adds steps for rework, and conveys delays.
  • Purchasing: Generates purchase orders, negotiates with vendors, tracks orders, maintains vendor relationships, and verifies order accuracy.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Effective communication with co-workers and management.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of an ERP system.
  • General computer skills including Excel and Microsoft Office products.
  • Able to multi-task and maintain an organized environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum High School Diploma / GED, Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with an MRP/ERP environment preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Move/Lift/Carry up to 40 lbs.
