About the role

As a Production Assembler you will assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations, prepare parts for testing, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications, and perform complex machine set‑up. You will identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels, repair them as necessary, and propose measures to increase productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and calibrate fabricated parts or units to meet product specifications.
  • Prepare parts for testing and perform testing and calibration to meet tolerances.
  • Perform complex machine set‑up and identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
  • Repair defective units and log corrective actions.
  • Propose and implement measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Perform simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations.
  • Inspect and test work for quality.
  • Perform and log scheduled preventative maintenance of production equipment.
  • Determine sequence of operations, required materials, and procedures.
  • Stage job materials for production according to procedure.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • 1–2 years of job‑related experience (preferred).

Skills

  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to precisely measure components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Pay

$19.13 – $22.96 per hour. Compensation may vary based on location, education, experience, qualifications, shift, or collective bargaining agreements and may include bonus or incentive plans.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
