Responsibilities
- Prepare materials and components needed for assembly operations.
- Assemble products and components according to production schedules and established procedures.
- Utilize hand tools, air tools, measuring devices, gauges, torque wrenches, and testing equipment.
- Perform inspections during and after assembly to ensure all specifications and quality standards are met.
- Test completed units to verify proper operation and functionality.
- Cross-train and perform work at multiple production stations as needed.
- Identify and communicate product quality concerns to leads and assist with problem resolution.
- Use calibration and testing equipment accurately and effectively.
- Follow material replenishment processes to support production flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Properly dispose of waste materials and follow all safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools, gauges, torque wrenches, and production equipment.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while remaining productive independently.
Qualifications
- Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Previous manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Preferred: Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Preferred: Experience working with hand and air tools.
Working Conditions
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds.
- Frequent standing for extended periods.
- Regular walking, bending, turning, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Repetitive motion associated with assembly activities.
- Manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels.
Pay
Your base wage will be between $19.00 - $22.13 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
