Responsibilities
- Greet and guide customer as they appear on the lot to proceed into the sales process
- Aid customers in finding a vehicle that suits their needs using current inventory information
- Enhance the sales process by demonstrating vehicle features on the lot
- Aid customers in completing their sales applications
- Audit the lot's vehicles daily, reporting any issues to management
- Aid management in ensuring the lot is merchandised correctly to boost sales
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
- Outgoing and friendly, especially while handling objections
- Strong customer service and sales track record
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Persuasive and capable of overcoming customer objections during the sales process
- Proficient in basic business math including percentages
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs
- Persistent, competitive, and have a good work ethic
- Focused on meeting the customer's needs to enhance dealership and personal sales
- Able to assist in cleaning and washing vehicles
