Product Owner-WFM

About the role

The Product Owner will partner with cross-functional teams to define product capabilities, document requirements, and support the delivery of Workforce Management solutions. The role operates within an agile environment and incorporates AI tools to support requirements discovery and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Partner with agile development teams to define and prioritize product features
• Gather, document, and refine functional and technical requirements and use cases
• Support product design through collaboration with engineering, QA, and product management
• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and training for internal and external audiences
• Investigate product issues and communicate findings and resolution paths to stakeholders
• Contribute to product roadmap execution and continuous improvement initiatives
• Engage with customers and participate in feedback programs to inform product enhancements

Requirements

• Experience working in a business analysis, product, or related role within a technology environment
• Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business and technical requirements
• Familiarity with Agile practices and the software development lifecycle
• Experience working with SaaS or enterprise software systems
• Ability to communicate requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or Postgres
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, and product

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Experience working in a business analysis, product, or related role within a technology environment; Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business and technical requirements; Familiarity with Agile practices and the software development lifecycle; Experience working with SaaS or enterprise software systems; Ability to communicate requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders; Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or Postgres; Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, and product
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with ERP, HCM or workforce management systems; Ex: Infor WFM, Dayforce, UKG, Workforce Sofware, Legion WFM and ADP or something similar; Experience in a product owner or similar role within Agile teams; Familiarity with Java-based applications or multi-tier architectures; Experience with system testing and user acceptance testing; Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or comparable technologies; Experience with Time and Attendance, Accruals, Scheduling, Pay Rules, Labor Laws, HR Integrations, and Payroll Integration; Experience using AI tools for requirements analysis, documentation, or prototyping
