Product Owner
About the role
The Product Owner at TRIMEDX plays a crucial role in improving business performance and capabilities. They identify opportunities to leverage systems and facilitate the management of the Team Backlog, ensuring that business needs are translated into actionable user stories. This position requires strong collaboration skills and a deep understanding of business processes.
Responsibilities
- Identify and define business needs into user stories.
- Document and make recommendations on current and future state business processes.
- Facilitate agile meetings with development teams and business stakeholders to identify risks, requirements, and specifications.
- Facilitate demos of completed development stories.
- Make recommendations on the development of future product enhancements with business.
- Identify processes that can reduce costs, increase efficiencies, or align with company objectives.
- Recommend solutions based on established best practices.
- Use analytical thinking to solve problems.
- Select from a limited range of options to solve problems.
- Escalate issue not defined by best practices to manager.
- Make tactical decisions driven by project priorities within defined procedures.
- Communicate with management to capture user requirements.
- Provide support to less experienced associates.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of cybersecurity experience preferred.
- Location: Indianapolis, IN preferred; Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central time zones with close proximity to a major airport.
- Candidates must have the ability to travel nationally as needed, including to the Indianapolis, IN Central Office.
- Relocation is not available for this position.

Experience and Education
- 2+ years of experience in technical and functional analysis.
- Average of Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
