About the role
The Agile Product Owner represents the voice of the Group Insurance customer and client at the team level, maintaining and prioritizing the Product Backlog, to ensure that the team is working on stories that maximize business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality to all end users. This role will focus on supporting the Client Readiness and Enrollment domains within Group Insurance.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed user stories for defined features
- Engage with Scrum Master and team members on a regular basis to ensure assigned features are fully executed within the prescribed Program Increment
- Hold all appropriate Product Owner ceremonies as necessary (PI Planning, Grooming, Demo, etc.) and partner with other Product Owners
- Lead prioritization of work for delivery team based on business value and engagement with stakeholders
- Comfortable with escalating risks to Product Manager
- Disciplined with scope management; partners with other product owners to assess and evaluate changes for feasibility and impacts on commitments
Requirements
- 5+ years of technology project experience
- 5+ years experience holding a Product Owner title
- SAFe Experience
- UI Experience
- A proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity
- Ability to navigate a fast paced, highly matrixed organization effectively
- Proven ability to present and communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally
- Insurance, banking, and/or enterprise experience is highly preferred
Qualifications
- Full accountability for execution of assigned user stories and associated products/deliverables
- Comfortable participating in and supporting development and testing and production support teams
- Lead prioritization of work for delivery team based on business value and engagement with stakeholders
- Responsible for user story management, including accurate story descriptions and acceptance criteria

Pay
The approximate pay range for this position is between $60.00 and $69.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
