About the role

The Product Owner/Project Manager leads the delivery and execution of project workstreams focused on tax operations, reporting, and regulatory processes. This role involves overseeing end-to-end planning, stakeholder coordination, and execution to ensure timely and compliant program delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery of assigned workstreams, including planning, execution, and tracking against key milestones and timelines.
  • Translate program objectives into actionable requirements, user stories, and delivery plans.
  • Cook up cross-functional stakeholders like Tax, Operations, Technology, Legal, and Compliance to align on scope, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Drive the definition of target state processes, ensure readiness for implementation, and support operationalization efforts.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate and resolve blockers impacting delivery.
  • Oversee testing, implementation, and transition activities to ensure successful rollout and stabilization.
  • Provide regular reporting, status updates, and insights to program leadership and governance forums.

Requirements

  • Experience: Product management, project management, or program delivery within financial services. Strong understanding of regulatory, tax operations, or large-scale transformation initiatives. Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs with multiple stakeholders. Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting tax operations, reporting, or corporate structure changes. Familiarity with enterprise program governance and risk/control frameworks. Prior experience in large-scale, time-bound transformation programs.
