About the role

As a Director Platform Product Owner, you will play a critical role in bridging Cloud and Firmware product strategy and technical execution. You’ll be responsible for translating business requirements into actionable development plans, guiding cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle — from planning and development to testing and release. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, product intuition, and stakeholder management.

Location

This position is fully remote. We are hiring across the US, UK, and Canada.

In this role

  • Owning and managing the product backlog: Break down large features into manageable components, prioritize them, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Engaging directly with customers to understand their platform product requirements and translate insights into backlog priorities.
  • Acting as the go-to expert for internal teams on product functionality, capabilities, and the impact of proposed changes.
  • Collaborating closely with R&D teams to clarify requirements, provide context, and support development and QA efforts.
  • Refined and validated business requirements for the Platform teams and other Cujo Products.
  • Continuously assessing backlog value to ensure prioritization aligns with customer and business needs.
  • Defining release content through discovery and grooming sessions with stakeholders and other product owners.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of product increments in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams.
  • Aligning with product leadership to understand strategic priorities and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Driving execution in agile environments, ensuring smooth coordination across teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, Solutions Architect, or Lead Engineer role within the ISP industry.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex systems and business logic.
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to balance detail orientation with big-picture thinking.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and highly organized.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with Network Service Providers (NSPs) and a solid understanding of how they operate, including networking or wireless communications.
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms in cloud environments.
  • Background in cloud infrastructure, ML, or networking technologies.
  • Track record of delivering large-scale, cross-departmental software projects in enterprise settings.
  • A strong team player instinct — you thrive in cross-functional environments and bring others along with you.
