About the role
This role is for a Director Platform Product Owner who will bridge Cloud and Firmware product strategy and technical execution. The successful candidate will own and manage the product backlog, engage with customers, collaborate with R&D teams, and drive execution in agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Owning and managing the product backlog
- Breaking down large features into manageable components, prioritizing them, and ensuring alignment with business goals
- Engaging directly with customers to understand their platform product requirements and translating insights into backlog priorities
- Acting as the go-to expert for internal teams on product functionality, capabilities, and the impact of proposed changes
- Collaborating closely with R&D teams to clarify requirements, provide context, and support development and QA efforts
- Refined and validated business requirements for the Platform teams and other Cujo Products
- Continuously assessing backlog value to ensure prioritization aligns with customer and business needs
- Defining release content through discovery and grooming sessions with stakeholders and other product owners
- Ensuring timely delivery of product increments in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams
- Aligning with product leadership to understand strategic priorities and translate them into actionable plans
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, Solutions Architect, or Lead Engineer role within the ISP industry
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex systems and business logic
- Proven experience working in Agile environments
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to balance detail orientation with big-picture thinking
- Proactive, self-driven, and highly organized
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with Network Service Providers (NSPs) and a solid understanding of how they operate, including networking or wireless communications
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms in cloud environments
- Background in cloud infrastructure, ML, or networking technologies
- Track record of delivering large-scale, cross-departmental software projects in enterprise settings
- A strong team player instinct — you thrive in cross-functional environments and bring others along with you
