Director Platform Product Owner

About the role

This role is for a Director Platform Product Owner who will bridge Cloud and Firmware product strategy and technical execution. The successful candidate will own and manage the product backlog, engage with customers, collaborate with R&D teams, and drive execution in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Owning and managing the product backlog
• Breaking down large features into manageable components, prioritizing them, and ensuring alignment with business goals
• Engaging directly with customers to understand their platform product requirements and translating insights into backlog priorities
• Acting as the go-to expert for internal teams on product functionality, capabilities, and the impact of proposed changes
• Collaborating closely with R&D teams to clarify requirements, provide context, and support development and QA efforts
• Refined and validated business requirements for the Platform teams and other Cujo Products
• Continuously assessing backlog value to ensure prioritization aligns with customer and business needs
• Defining release content through discovery and grooming sessions with stakeholders and other product owners
• Ensuring timely delivery of product increments in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams
• Aligning with product leadership to understand strategic priorities and translate them into actionable plans

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, Solutions Architect, or Lead Engineer role within the ISP industry
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex systems and business logic
• Proven experience working in Agile environments
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to balance detail orientation with big-picture thinking
• Proactive, self-driven, and highly organized
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with Network Service Providers (NSPs) and a solid understanding of how they operate, including networking or wireless communications
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms in cloud environments
• Background in cloud infrastructure, ML, or networking technologies
• Track record of delivering large-scale, cross-departmental software projects in enterprise settings
• A strong team player instinct — you thrive in cross-functional environments and bring others along with you
