Job Overview
The Project Manager, Salesforce Product Owner in the Integrated Energy Solutions unit has an integral role as the project manager and product owner for new digital systems builds for the program team. They use their knowledge of program rules and processes to ensure that the systems utilized by the program teams are operating properly and will serve as the liaison between NYSERDA’s Home Modernization program, Salesforce Solutions and IT teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with the program team to define business goals, program procedures, and policy that will need to be integrated into digital systems design.
- Oversee transition of NY Home Energy Portal from legacy digital systems to a new program application and workflow platform within NYSERDA’s Salesforce environment; including systems development management for business requirement development, project and sprint development management, and user acceptance test planning and execution.
- Provide operational support for the program team by intaking and triaging support requests for existing systems, managing staff resource workload and output, monitor, maintain, and address issues with systems integrations, troubleshoot and resolve issues with individual systems, and provide knowledge transfer to the team.
- Liaison between the program, Salesforce Solutions, and IT teams to manage ongoing and future projects.
- Contribute to a team culture of openness and collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years' of relevant experience working in computer science, project planning, business administration, public policy
- Understanding of Salesforce architecture and the ability to translate business requirements for Salesforce developers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management background with exceptional organizational, time management and planning skills to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Asana
- Demonstrated problem-solving with a proactive and collaborative style
- Able to learn and assimilate new information and think holistically through complex problems with technical and non-technical components
- Track record for building effective partnerships, facilitating consensus-building among multiple stakeholders
- Able to work independently and cross-functionally with other teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree and 4 years of experience working in computer science, project planning, business administration, public policy
- Working Knowledge of NYSERDA’s Home Modernization programs
- General Building Science knowledge with a focus on weatherization
