About the role

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is a world leader in interconnect solutions for Communications, Mobile, RF, Optics, and Commercial electronics markets. The Power Solutions Group, a business unit of Amphenol, is the market leader for power electrical connectors and cables for the Telecom/Datacom Market serving Storage, Servers, Networks, and more. This role reports directly to the North American Regional Product Marketing Manager and will focus on marketing Amphenol's next-generation power products within the Datacom Market.

Responsibilities

  • Promote power products to the market, win key new design opportunities, and develop/execute product strategies to rapidly grow the business.
  • Proactively present and promote the Power Solutions portfolio to help global sales teams understand positioning, benefits, and target customers.
  • Work closely with global sales teams to identify market trends and requirements, facilitating new design wins.
  • Maximize share at key accounts by coordinating pricing and market strategy with sales.
  • Drive the new business opportunity funnel, aligning sales and business units on strategies and actions to win opportunities; develop sales and marketing tools as needed.
  • Prepare and support monthly and quarterly revenue projections, forecast analysis, and book-to-ship estimates.
  • Serve as a liaison between customer requests and internal functions (Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, Quality, etc.).
  • Actively engage with customers’ commodity and engineering teams on a daily basis.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, business development, and operations to identify product and solution gaps and define market requirements.
  • Manage project timelines, product roadmaps, and technical deliverables.
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 50% for customer visits, field engagements, trainings, and factory visits.
  • Attend meetings outside of standard working hours due to global team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a technical engineering discipline.
  • 4+ years of product management, sales, and/or technical business development experience, preferably for an electronics product line in a related market.
  • Technical knowledge of the interconnect industry and/or familiarity with datacenter architecture, AI computing, server/storage hardware.
  • Exceptional organization, creativity, adaptability, and strong project management skills in a rapidly changing, multi-tasking environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, GANTT charts, etc.).
  • Ability to integrate with cross-functional teams globally and a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to get the job done.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English; bilingual candidates fluent in Mandarin are a plus.
  • Versatile with a blend of business acumen, technical savvy, and the ability to manage new responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Good communication skills.
