Product Manager, Automotive Ceramic Capacitors

About the role

YAGEO Group is seeking an Automotive Product Manager at our Simpsonville, South Carolina location. This is an onsite role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies aligned with organizational goals and market demands.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback, market research, and competitor data to inform product decisions.
• Define product requirements, features, and specifications in collaboration with engineering and design teams.
• Monitor product performance, manage lifecycles, and identify areas for improvement or innovation.
• Support sales and marketing efforts by providing product expertise and developing promotional materials.
• Manage product pricing to maximize profitability and growth.
• Cook up with planning and operations to ensure quality, cost and timely delivery.

Other Responsibilities

• Manages, plans and coordinates the development of new products and enhancements of existing products based on short-term and long-term needs.
• Develops sales forecasts and implements pricing schedules that provide revenue and margins growth while remaining competitive in the market.
• Interfaces with customers to determine opportunities for product growth and improvement.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define, design and deliver new products and product enhancements that meet the needs of the company, its clients, and the end users.
• Maintains product financial performance metrics to inform and direct strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Systems Skills: Proficiency in software tools such as Excel and PowerBI is helpful.
