Product Management Analyst
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned principals by participating in trade shows, seminars, and meetings.
- Support Principal Managers by gathering and delivering supplier data including targets, product information, and sales metrics.
- Aid in identifying key market opportunities through market mapping and product recommendations.
- Respond to special pricing requests from the sales team and ensure accurate system entry.
- Cook up communication between principals, sales teams, and technical contacts to ensure timely responses to inquiries.
- Partner with internal resources to maximize contribution margins and business performance.
- Independently manage day-to-day activities for assigned minor principals.
Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty chemicals, distribution, manufacturing, or another complex B2B environment.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in specialty chemical or ingredient distribution.
- Experience with CRM Systems (Salesforce Preferred).
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
- Exposure to pricing analysis, forecasting, or product management.
- Understanding of industrial manufacturing markets including coatings, adhesives, plastics, rubber, construction, or related industries.
