Product Analyst
About the role
HilltopSecurities is seeking a Product Analyst in Dallas, Texas. This role involves supporting the strategy and design of various Hilltop-supported applications, driving continuous improvement through data analysis, and managing the balance between ideal and marketable products.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day product issues by researching and resolving application issues
- Prioritize and implement problem resolution procedures and keep updates and status of open issues through Service Center
- Suggest and champion system improvements and any potential industry requirements
- Serve as a liaison with end users, various departments, and outside vendors, participating in testing activities as needed
- Facilitate the communication by which information is distributed within the teams
- Coordinate meetings and user groups
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in a business-related field
- 4+ years of experience supporting financial products
- Experience working in the financial industry
- Comfortable with various toolsets: Salesforce Service Cloud, Power BI, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint/Teams
- Gifted at handling multiple requests at once and prioritizing tasks to meet consumer needs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills covering complex business topics
- Demonstrated ability to define product requirements and lay out a plan for delivering a quality experience with scheduled incremental improvements after the initial rollout
- FINRA Series 7 preferred
