Role Overview
The Product Analyst (PA) plays a critical role in advancing LifeStance’s patient experience strategy by helping design and deliver product solutions that improve access, engagement, and outcomes across the patient journey. Partnering closely with Product Management, Engineering, Clinical Operations, and Data teams, this role translates patient and caregiver needs into actionable product requirements, insights, and delivery support. This position sits at the intersection of product development and patient experience, contributing directly to initiatives that enhance patient access (e.g., scheduling, intake), engagement (e.g., digital touchpoints, communication), and continuity of care.

Compensation
$71,779 - $86,135/annually in addition to a competitive bonus plan
Responsibilities
- Core Product: Translate business and clinical needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Maintain and refine the product backlog in partnership with the Product Manager. Support roadmap planning through feasibility analysis, effort estimation, and dependency mapping.
- Data & Analytics: Query and analyze EHR, operational, and engagement data to inform product decisions. Partner with Data/BI teams to define and validate KPIs tied to product performance.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Develop working knowledge of patient workflows (e.g., scheduling, documentation, billing, care coordination). Participate in workflow observation, user interviews, and stakeholder discovery sessions.
- Collaboration & Delivery Support: Act as a liaison between Engineering, Clinical Operations, Compliance, and IT. Support agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives). Track and communicate dependencies, risks, and action items across workstreams.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain product documentation (process maps, decision logs, data dictionaries, system diagrams). Prepare release notes, training materials, and stakeholder communications. Support the Product Manager with executive summaries, reporting, and meeting materials.
Skills & Experience
- 1–4 years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, healthcare operations, or data analytics
- Strong ability to translate business needs into structured requirements
- Experience working with data (SQL, Excel, BI tools, or similar)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to healthcare technology, EHR systems, or clinical workflows
- Familiarity with agile product development methodologies
- Understanding of interoperability standards (FHIR, APIs)
- Experience supporting UAT, process improvement, or workflow analysis
