Responsibilities
- Develop and implement GIS solutions to support organizational objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design GIS projects
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to drive decision-making
- Train and mentor colleagues on GIS tools and techniques
- Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in GIS
- Proficiency in ArcGIS software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience with data management and spatial analysis
- Knowledge of GIS project lifecycle and methodologies
- Understanding of environmental or geographic issues relevant to Esri’s industry
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
- Experience with geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, KML, and Shapefiles
- Familiarity with web mapping technologies like OpenLayers or Leaflet
- Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
