Product Engineer II

About the role

In this role, you will:

• Assess and analyze current manufacturing processes
• Develop processes for new products, work processes, and other manufacturing needs
• Develop and draft job instructions for all manufacturing processes
• Implement efficient quality control processes and cost-saving measures
• Oversee and optimize the full lifecycle of a product's manufacturing processes
• Educate and train new employees on current manufacturing and workflow processes
• Suggest and implement improvements to current manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency
• Cook up and coordinate with various departments to ensure products are completed on time
• Communicate with customers to ensure their needs are being met
• Complete contract review of customer purchase orders

Responsibilities

What Makes You Great:

• A bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, materials, or related engineering field required
• Four (4) years of manufacturing plant or project engineering experience
• Proficient in data analysis programs and Microsoft Suite
• Exposure to Lean Six Sigma methodology
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Experience using CAD (computer-aided design) software is a plus
• Proven ability to combine theoretical training with practical experience in a "hands-on" environment
