Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Product Engineer II with our medical device client in Lafayette, CO. This is a 24-month contract with a potential for extension. Pay: $35.00 - $45.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship. Description: Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Responsible for production support engineering with respect to testing methods, procedures, and problems; device specification and yield problems; minor redesign of devices and masks; analysis of customer returns; and optimizing device production relative to cost constraints.Assumes responsibility for device after transfer into highvolume production and usually responsible for entire device manufacturing operations other than wafer fabrication.May assist customer in device usage problems or customer testing of complex devices. Must Have:Completed Bachelor's Degree1-3 years of medical / clinical experience or exposure Requires basic job knowledge of systems, techniques and procedures of product or process designRequires minimum of 2 years of relevant experienceExperience as a Mechanical or Electrical Technician. Nice to Have:BS Electrical Engineering > BS Electrical Engineering TechnologyBS Mechanical Engineer Education Required: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Years' Experience Required: 1 - 3 Top 3 technical skills that are required for the role: Ability to identify, diagnose, and/or correct mechanical, electrical, or software issues. Understanding of compliance to medical device regulations and good manufacturing practices Use AI to complete tasks and support the other members of the project team.
