About the role

The Role As a Product Developer for Teva Footwear, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the product creation process from initial brief through final prototyping and sample delivery. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate materials, construction, and performance, ensuring every product meets Teva’s standards for quality and innovation. Your expertise will help drive timely execution, cost analysis, and successful commercialization of new footwear designs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the product creation process from brief stage through final prototyping and salesman samples
  • Participate in project reviews with product creation and development teams, focusing on patterns, mold processes, materials, pricing, yield & cost analysis, manufacturing processes, and end use performance
  • Generate and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for all projects
  • Participate in product teardowns to evaluate construction, comfort, and cost concerns
  • Execute developmental projects according to critical timelines and cost/margin targets
  • Facilitate timely creation, delivery, and approval of technical information (shell patterns, 2D’s, 3D’s, lasts, blueprints, cost sheets)
  • Absorb fit and wear testing, diagnosing commercialization issues and ensuring successful mass production
  • Travel to development factories and trade shows as needed
  • Track and manage sample delivery, ensuring all meeting dates are met and production confirmation samples are approved

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years’ experience in the footwear industry
  • Experience building product specifications
  • Understanding of material applications for product use
  • General knowledge of product constructions
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe applications
  • Exposure to FlexPLM or similar systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years’ experience in the footwear industry

Pay

$72,600.00 - $98,000.00

Schedule

Hybrid Typically 3 times per week in office, Tuesday – Thursday
