Key Responsibilities

  • Lead footwear product development projects from concept through commercialization
  • Translate 2D design renderings into 3D prototypes and samples
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, materials, testing, sourcing, and operations teams
  • Ensure products meet performance, quality, cost, and sustainability targets
  • Identify and implement cost-effective solutions during development
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and overseas manufacturing partners
  • Facilitate meetings, drive alignment, and influence decision-making across teams
  • Ensure readiness for manufacturing and commercialization processes
  • Apply problem-solving skills to address complex product and process challenges

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2+ years of footwear product development experience
  • Knowledge of footwear pattern engineering, tooling, and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, sketches, and 3D digital files
  • Experience working in cross-functional team environments
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience identifying and implementing cost reduction strategies
  • Knowledge of materials, testing methods, and product performance properties
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping and product iteration
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with global partners
