Product Analyst - Sales

Job Duties

• Product Planning - Execute product roadmaps, document requirements, and plan initiatives. Create dashboards for reports and presentations. Collaborate on positioning, pricing, specifications, and competitor reconnaissance. Build communication tools and presentation materials using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Market Intelligence - Gather, organize, and evaluate industry, corporate, customer, and competitor data. Seek out customer insights and market intelligence. Measure and quantify customer demand and market segments. Analyze data to propose creative, data-backed solutions. Utilize Excel for competitor analysis to identify trends and product opportunities. Prepare presentation materials for meetings with executives, legal, sales, customers, engineering, and marketing teams. Collaborate cross-functionally to exchange relevant information throughout the development process.
• Communication - Maintain strong working relationships with Sales and Support Teams, Engineering, Manufacturing, etc. Act as a liaison to exchange information across teams. Demonstrate active listening skills, good verbal, non-verbal, and written communication.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-4 years related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent experience)
• Occasional travel (0-5%)
• Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)
• Drive a personal vehicle for company business (8 hours per week, 20%)
• Per 8-hour shift. Sit 7 hours, stand 1 hour. Office environment with low noise level, limited exposure to hot/cold temperatures, dust, fumes, and vibrations. Prolonged periods of sitting and prolonged use of a computer/keyboard. Infrequent lifting, walking, and climbing stairs. Occasional use of office equipment.

• Strong technical knowledge
• Good organizational and analytical skills
• Good verbal and written communication, documentation, interview, and active listening skills
• Fluent in product development process and other development strategies
