Product Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data (both internal and external) in support of our pricing proposals for assigned lines of business/regions.
• Prepare insurance filings for regulatory approval and respond to insurance department inquiries.
• Participate in system testing of new products and enhancements.
• Support Underwriting and Customer Relations by providing technical support in policy quotes.
• Ensure streamlined implementation and product profitability.
• Work with a sense of urgency around resolution, keep management informed and follow up in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with the entire team and escalate issues as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years of insurance experience in a pricing or analytical role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical acumen.
• Must strive to provide service levels that exceed industry standards and promote teamwork across functional areas.
• Strong time management skills, being able to handle multiple tasks.
• Resourceful and results driven with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and internet research tools.
• Ability to Query Databases (experience in SQL, Power BI, etc.).
