Product Analyst

Job Description

This role serves as the requirements engine for a small, AI-forward engineering pod automating partner onboarding and back-office workflows, translating stakeholder needs into clear, buildable requirements that drive meaningful operational efficiencies for the organization.

Minimum Requirements

• 1.5 to 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst working within a small team or product-focused tech environment.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, elicit, and document requirements and translate them into user stories or specifications engineering can act on.
• Solid understanding of business analysis processes and product workflow documentation, including capturing edge cases.
• Genuine, hands-on fluency with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or agent frameworks, used actively in day-to-day work, not just surface-level familiarity.
• Comfort working within an Agile or Scrum framework alongside engineers in a tight, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with workflow or process automation tools (such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or Power Automate) or low-code/no-code platforms.
• Background in financial services, insurance, fintech, or mortgage industries.
• Experience working closely with a Product Owner or Product Manager and understanding how that function interfaces with engineering and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated curiosity and experimentation with new AI tools, with the ability to articulate how those tools changed the way the work was done.
