About the Role

As a Freddie Mac Multifamily Digital Product Analyst, the solutions you help create and deliver will ensure liquidity, stability, and affordability to the U.S. housing market. You’ll build a vertically integrated network of multifamily finance business and technology professionals, contributing to our mission to #makehomepossible.

Freddie Mac Multifamily offers a dynamic, diverse, and inclusive work environment that allows Product Analysts to grow through a wide variety of experiences and responsibilities. Multifamily Digital Product Analysts will have immediate interaction with all levels of employees, including senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Seek solutions that meet business needs, resulting in process efficiency, business change flexibility, and increased Multifamily’s ability to manage and leverage data.
  • Execute business requirements and user story creation, user acceptance testing, and integration activities across projects and applications.
  • Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups.
  • Help Chief Product Owners and Product Owners draft business case and use case documentation.
  • Track and manage product and solution performance measurements such as Key Performance Indicators.
  • Collaborate with management and business operations to comprehend and document decision support needs.
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.
  • Implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data requirements.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
  • Provide direct support to a multifamily Digital Capability scrum team.
  • Facilitate knowledge-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to analyze their needs and document key requirements.
  • Develop user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria and communicate effectively with developers.
  • Identify risks and dependencies that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Develop Modern Delivery agile knowledge and skills applicable to digital transformation teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the Multifamily organization to assist in delivering new digital capabilities, specifically in process redesign, legacy application integration and retirement, and product release readiness.
  • Develop deep Multifamily business knowledge to discover ways to improve team processes and communicate efficiencies effectively among business and technology departments.
  • Provide constructive support to Product Owners and IT Teams to help drive product-related decisions and improvements.
  • Participate in and, in some cases, lead/facilitate team daily stand-ups, defect calls, SME sessions, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective to discuss release scope, risks, issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in release support expectations, ensuring all applicable groups are engaged in release planning and execution.
  • Mentor junior Product Analysts in Modern Delivery processes and provide effective feedback to further team production.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience working in agile environments.
  • Strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate business features.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills; ability to operate independently with minimal guidance.
  • Very high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output in a team environment.
  • Experience in the primary or secondary mortgage market highly desirable.
  • Availability for occasional work beyond core business hours or weekends as needed.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams).

Pay

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity, and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
