About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Product Analyst - Lifecycle Marketing to join our dynamic team. In this strategic role, you will serve as a key analytics partner for lifecycle and CRM initiatives, shaping retention strategies through cohort-based insights, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Data Science teams to measure the impact of initiatives, optimize lifecycle programs, and identify high-leverage opportunities to enhance user retention and engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical rigor, operational excellence, and excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights and compelling narratives for diverse audiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence product development, drive user engagement, and contribute to Pinterest’s mission of inspiring creativity worldwide. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in analytics within fast-paced, data-driven environments, preferably in consumer technology or digital platforms.Strong background in lifecycle marketing, CRM analytics, retention, engagement, cohort analysis, and user behavior measurement.Proven expertise in designing, executing, and interpreting A/B tests and growth experiments.Highly proficient in SQL; experience with Python is advantageous but not mandatory.Operational mindset with the ability to own analyses end-to-end and work independently in self-serve environments.Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of synthesizing complex findings into clear insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, and Engineering.Retention-oriented mindset with a focus on long-term user value and behavior analysis.Experience with AI tools to enhance analytical workflows, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.Graduate degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Responsibilities Act as the strategic analytics partner for lifecycle, CRM, and retention initiatives, providing insights to inform decision-making.Identify key opportunities to improve user retention, re-engagement, and long-term value through cohort analysis and lifecycle insights.Define success metrics and measurement frameworks for CRM and lifecycle programs, ensuring clarity and consistency.Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests and experiments to understand drivers of retention, engagement, and sustained behavior change.Analyze user behavior across different lifecycle stages, uncovering patterns, drop-off points, and high-impact levers for retention improvements.Build scalable dashboards, reporting frameworks, and monitoring tools to support rapid decision-making and operational excellence.Communicate complex insights clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, product teams, and marketing stakeholders.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align data-driven strategies and optimize lifecycle marketing efforts.Leverage AI tools to streamline analysis, synthesis, and reporting processes, ensuring high-quality recommendations.
