Responsibilities
- Partner with the Transportation Category Manager to support execution of the transportation category strategy and sourcing roadmap.
- Provide analytical support for strategic sourcing initiatives and day-to-day transportation sourcing needs.
- Maintain transportation rate governance across carriers, modes, and contracts on TMS.
- Analyze transportation bids, rates, and cost scenarios; support negotiations and contract administration.
- Support regular RFP events using Coupa Sourcing Optimization (CSO).
- Develop and deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and annual dashboards and performance reports.
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support sourcing decisions, supplier evaluations, and leadership requests.
- Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models.
- Automate reporting and data refresh processes to reduce manual effort and improve data reliability.
- Ensure scalable, standardized reporting solutions across the transportation category.
- Identify gaps in transportation procurement and materials management processes.
- Recommend and support improvements across TMS (JDA preferred), SAP, and related systems.
- Support data consistency, master data governance, and process standardization initiatives.
- Support cost-savings identification through market analysis, rate benchmarking, and performance insights.
- Track savings, contract compliance, and supplier KPIs.
- Support supplier relationship management and performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, procurement analytics, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize large data sets.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SAP, TMS platforms, and sourcing/analytics tools (CSO preferred).
- Working knowledge of transportation rate structures, sourcing processes, and master data management.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data to support data-driven decision making.
