Procurement Category Manager
Your Role
The Category Manager - HR Services owns end-to-end responsibility for a global HR procurement category. The role operates as a recognized subject matter expert, leading critical initiatives, managing elevated risk and complexity, and delivering material business impact. This role does not include formal people-management responsibilities but may lead cross-functional teams and initiatives.
What you'll be doing
- Own, evolve, and execute global HR category or HR project strategies
- Lead high-value, high-risk, or complex sourcing and contracting initiatives
- Serve as the global SME and escalation point for critical issues
- Drive significant innovation and performance improvement
- Lead cross-functional workstreams and enterprise initiatives
- Provide backup support for Team Leader responsibilities when required
- Influence senior stakeholders through insight, expertise, and results
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10–12+ years of progressive procurement experience with significant experience spent supporting HR/Professional Services Procurement
- Demonstrated success managing global or complex categories
- Strong commercial judgment and risk management capability
- Ability to lead without authority in matrixed organizations
