Procurement and Supply Chain Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Assign POs and facilitate PO approvals at the direction of the Purchasing Manager and support staff.
• Resolve shortages and report PO status.
• Engage and build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Execute procurement strategies and make purchase decisions autonomously.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and optimize procurement processes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, enhancing the procurement process and identifying cost-effective, innovative solutions.
• Identify opportunities for streamlining procurement processes and enhancing efficiency.
• Handle multiple procurement projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience to include direct reports supervision.
• Well organized, strong math and analytical skills, sound logic and deductive reasoning skills, data entry, negotiation, purchasing, inventory, time management.
• 5+ years of purchasing experience in a rate production manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of overall project, program, or supplier management experience or a degree in a related field.
• Prior ERP system experience required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong organization and documentation skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
