Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Position is subject to drug testing.
- Financial Disclosure Statement required.
- Top Secret (SCI) Security Clearance required.
- Knowledge of laws, policies, regulations and procedures governing contracting for Federal government in general and those in the specialty of special operations.
- Knowledge of the Acquisition related sections of the Competition in the Contracting Act, to include knowledge of the implementing regulations of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS) relative to the competition.
- Ability to plan, direct and implement a HQ/Major Command Acquisition Program.
- Ability to implement acquisition reform through research of statues, emulation of commercial business practices and modification/improvement of existing techniques.
Requirements
- 6-9 years desired experience AFCS.
Skills
- Subject Matter Expertise in translating regulatory, Executive Orders, Department directives, and other organizational requirements into practical guidance and tools.
- Current DAWIA B2B Professional Certification (Legacy CON Level III) or equivalent Contracting certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of DoD Procurement experience.
- Planning, developing, conducting, and coordinating functions in all matters relating to the daily execution of procurement operations.
