Job Description
The Technology and Innovation Consultant will provide development and deployment of advanced processes, tools, and technology to drive the efficient delivery of projects. The Technology and Innovation Consultant will partner with project teams, project managers, business line managers, and division management throughout the evaluation of market and business trends, problem identification, solution creation, and implementation phases while adhering to budget constraints, design factors and client needs.
- Aid project teams in documenting business processes and identifying ways to improve project execution and service workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Present proposed project execution solutions, including software, hardware, code writing, and automated processes.
- Execute proof of concept activities, detailing savings, benefits, and automated process improvements.
- Implement technology solutions to ensure stakeholder success and optimal utilization.
- Evaluate existing processes and technology tools, and deploy new tools to improve efficiency and workflow improvements on client projects.
- Research and implement new technology and develop innovative approaches to services and client deliverables.
- Attend trade shows and conferences to present emerging trends, markets, and technologies to leadership.
- Develop technologically innovative products, solutions, and services to create new revenue streams and improve project profit margins.
- Aid in the development of business cases for large investments and initiatives to enter into partnerships.
- Aid in the presentation and launch of new ventures through the program.
- Develop and maintain external vendor relationships and evaluate integration of their solutions into business processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as IT and Strategic Initiatives, to build holistic and cohesive solutions for clients.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited program and 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the consulting industry.
- Associate Degree and 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the consulting industry.
- High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the consulting industry.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in standard engineering techniques and procedures for project and program management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentations skills with both internal and external audiences of various sizes.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CAD platforms, GIS, analysis programs, and data acquisition platforms.
- Strong knowledge in computer logic and data analytics preferred.
- Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability of advanced learning of new concepts and applying knowledge to deliverables.
- Engineers in Training-EIT Certification Preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of Procore experience required.
- No expectation for overtime.
