Processing Utility L5 "B" Shift

About the role

The Processing Utility Operator will operate and adjust multiple pieces of equipment, monitor line flow and waste, correct production issues, and change positions as needed. This role requires a one-year commitment and can be bid into additional positions based on plant needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and adjust equipment
• Maintain line flow and waste levels
• Correct production issues affecting quality and costs
• Make necessary line changes as directed
• Seamlessly switch between different qualified jobs
• Train and qualify in multiple positions across Fryer Operator, Process Operator, L5 Fryer Operator, L5 Process Op, L5 Cutter Deck Op, L5 Batter Operator, and Receiving Operator L5
• Work overtime and cover shifts as needed
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain safe work practices and follow safety programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Basic math skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate and work with others positively
• Ability to perform routine checks like CILs and FSILs

Pay

$26,59 per hour

Schedule

Shift work with coverage requirements and overtime availability.
