Packaging Utility L5 "C" Shift

About the role

The Packaging Utility L5 "C" Shift position is designed to have associates trained/qualified to fill in on shift and for overtime where absences create a need for coverage.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate and adjust all equipment in multiple packaging areas;
• Maintain line flow and monitor waste;
• Correct problems affecting quality and production costs;
• Make line changes as directed by the Production / Package Lead or Team Leader;
• Willing and able to seamlessly change positions between current qualified jobs to meet plant needs on their respective shift;
• May be asked to bid into certain positions based on plant need.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred;
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English;
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure;
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form;
• Ability to reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl;
• Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds unassisted.

• Perform routine checks such as CIL’s, CL’s, and FSIL’s;
• Read, write, and communicate in English;
• Maintain 5S in assigned areas;
• Safe use and skilled application of tools.

Pay

Industry-competitive pay rate: $26.59 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week, rotating shifts.
