Process Technician - Manufacturing

ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS

• Review and maintain any required logs, check sheets, inspection sheets, and work orders.
• Ensure correct roll stock or material is being used and positioned by machinery.
• Position rolls of material on unwinder and thread film through machinery.
• Perform Thermoforming Machinery start-ups and shut downs.
• Clear material jams and monitor machinery for mechanical issues.
• Listen for unusual noises and visually inspect gears, hoses, gauges, materials, etc.
• Lift heavy objects and clean work area, machines, and equipment.
• Take immediate corrective action for machine stoppages and request maintenance assistance.
• Recognize and correct safety hazards.
• Maintain assigned lines in a clean and orderly condition.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing Events as required.

Additional Packing Duties

• Gather packaging supplies and build carton boxes for assigned line.
• Inspect products for functional and minor defects.
• Compare product or material with samples to verify conformance to standards.
• Sort and pack finished product into bags, carton, or containers according to customer specifications.
• Stack finished cartons on skids in proper patterns.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation range: $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
• Yearly Safety Shoe reimbursement program.
• Full benefits after 30 days.
