Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support for extrusion, stranding, cabling, and related processes.
- Lead root cause analysis of quality and downtime issues; implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Reduce scrap, improve productivity, and stabilize processes to protect on-time delivery and cost performance.
- Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results.
- Lead process development, validation, and industrialization for new product introductions.
- Lead installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment and technologies.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation; analyze process and quality data to drive optimization.
- Evaluate and integrate new equipment, materials, and technologies in collaboration with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities through process and material optimization.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, AS9100/ISO standards, and customer requirements.
- Provide cross-functional technical support and operator training to improve process consistency and effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Chemical, or related field).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD software, and PLC-controlled systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change through continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work both independently and within team environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with extrusion, stranding, cabling, jacketing, or insulation processes.
- Knowledge of electrical performance testing and applicable industry standards (UL, ASTM, MIL-SPEC, IPC, etc.).
- Experience working within AS9100 or ISO-certified quality systems.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and process capability analysis.
Pay
Annual Pay Range: $66,000.00 - $99,000.00
