About the role
Amazon is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Central Operations Process Engineering team, which focuses on process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement within the Global Customer Fulfillment Network. This role involves working with a diverse group of operational leaders to enhance process control and performance across multiple fulfillment centers. The Process Engineer will prioritize efforts to reduce variation from established standards and drive compliance to improve operational efficiency. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to influence others to achieve meaningful results.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate performance objectives and metrics across the site and super region to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Audit, teach, and drive execution to the benchmark standards while promoting continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement detailed standard operating procedures for daily operations within established process control limits.
- Partner with operational leaders to execute established standard work and process improvements.
- Train operational leaders in the FCs to address knowledge gaps and reduce variation in process standards.
- Collaborate with support teams for reviewing critical inputs and best practice sharing.
- Measure and communicate variation reduction impacts in partnership with site leaders.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver and deploy network-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
- 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field.

Pay
$91,000 - $136,500 per year
