About the role
According to customer and internal specifications, designs and implements manufacturing processes and equipment for the manufacture of PCBs, including process optimization and continual improvement.
Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and follow written procedures and instructions in English.
- Use personal experience, education, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Lead and direct the work of others.
- Focus on process yield and improvement.
- Interact with customers regarding process improvement and failure analysis.
- Support manufacturing by process definition and implementation.
- Specify materials, tools, equipment (when possible), and process parameters.
- Assist in training of manufacturing personnel.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.
- Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions for process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in a technically related field.
- 1–5 years electrochemical copper plating experience.
- 1–5 years electroless copper plating experience.
- 1–5 years ENEPIG surface finish experience.
- 1–3 years general PCB experience.
- Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC, including but not limited to:
- Identifying ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understanding that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.
- Recognizing Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation.
- Following authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL).
- Understanding the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US.
- Managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
