PRN Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Orthopedics

About the role

Responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a Med Surg Ortho setting, collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure positive clinical outcomes and an outstanding patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, perform procedures, administer medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and document care accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, medications, side effects, and follow-up care, translating complex information clearly.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license, with a Bachelor's or Associate Degree, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
