Role Overview

The RN Ortho Operating Room PRN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care within a fast-paced surgical environment. They serve as a resource for patients and families, ensuring high-quality clinical support during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care for orthopedic surgeries
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Utilize advanced technology and evidence-based practices in patient management
• Support patient and family education regarding procedures and recovery

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 2 years of RN ORTHO OR operating room experience
• Associate's degree or Nursing Diploma
• Valid Maryland RN license
• American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS & PALS preferred
• Specialty certification is a plus
