About the Role
Provide direct nursing care in the Med/Surg department at UAB St. Vincent's East, following organizational policies and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care as the primary point of contact.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and assist with discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Current RN license or eligibility in Alabama.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, from AHA or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school and at least one year of nursing experience.
