Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - PRN

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. They operate within organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. The nurse maintains practice standards and coordinates care activities among assigned staff to ensure the delivery of quality nursing services.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing school required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Work Experience: No experience required; new graduates eligible; Hospital experience preferred, with 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN roles
• Licenses and Certifications: Current Georgia RN licensure or NLC/eNCL multistate license required; BCLS certification required; Additional specialty certifications preferred, if applicable
