About the role
Provide direct nursing care in a Med/Surg setting, adhering to organizational policies and implementing patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions, serve as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary teams, and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate discharge planning with healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure or eligibility through the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of hire
- At least one year of nursing experience
