About the role
The role is a PRN Hospitalist at OCH Regional Medical Center, a community hospital in Starkville, MS. The mission is to provide high-quality health care to the community and respond to evolving health needs.
Responsibilities
- Average of 20 patients per day
- 7 on 7 off scheduling
- Telehealth nocturnist APC at night with physician backup
- Team-based approach with an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to improve throughput and timely discharge
- Specialty services include orthopedics, maternity care, pediatrics, urology, ENT, and oral
Requirements
- MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Collaborative work with APCs in the hospital medicine setting
