Hospitalist Physician
Local Team Collaboration
Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 21 physicians and 6 APPs with the support of a clinical performance nurse at Cleveland Clinic Mercy. We take pride in our relationship with the hospital and encourage our providers to join hospital committees and participate in medical staff.
Qualifications
- Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine.
- We proudly support both H1B & J1 visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing and credentialing support.
- All required filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.
- New graduates, residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.
Scheduling
- Work 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts in a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
- Rotate through swing shifts.
- Help cover for teammates as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the inpatient coverage.
- The ICU is closed, and our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes.
- Participate in team huddles.
