Hospitalist Physician

This is a full-time Hospitalist role offering a 7 on / 7 off schedule, focused on providing inpatient care, consultations, and accepting admissions for patients without primary care providers. Key responsibilities include participating in 24/7 hospital call coverage, responding to Rapid Assessment Team calls, and managing ICU rounding in a 6-bed open ICU. The role involves procedures such as ventilator management, intubations, and central lines, with support from onsite pharmacy, radiology, and lab services. Requirements include Internal Medicine training with Board certification or scheduled boards, ACLS certification, and experience or training in procedures. The position offers competitive compensation with a base pay of $250,000, productivity bonuses, sign-on, relocation assistance, CME time and allowance, and full health benefits. The hospital covers malpractice, licensing, and staffing costs, allowing physicians to focus on patient care.
