We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated Rehabilitation Team. Pay Scale: $35.00 per hour Essential Functions Provides patient treatments utilizing modalities of exercise, heat, cold, massage, mobilization, hydrotherapy, light therapy, electricity and patient education as established in the plan of care.Document the patient progress for review by other rehabilitation team members.Instructs patients in proper gait techniques, exercises and use of assistive devices and ADLs.Responsible for the personal care of the patient, environment and privacy throughout the treatment.Responsible for proper care of orthotics, prosthetics, and assistive devices.Completes billing procedures when necessary.Assists in maintaining the Rehab Department and keeping the equipment clean/orderly.Participates in hospital in servicing as assigned by the Rehab Director.
