Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Assistant, providing skilled services under a licensed Physical Therapist to support hospice patients' comfort and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Delivering physical therapy interventions such as therapeutic exercises, gait training, and use of physical agents in accordance with care plans and state regulations.
• Monitoring patient responses, documenting progress accurately, and reporting changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Educating patients on the safe use of mobility and supportive devices.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team discussions, home care meetings, and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an associate degree.
• Current PTA certification or licensure required by state law.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with a reliable, insured vehicle.
